In our series of Bad Blog Tips, we will share with you the most effective ways of creating an atrocious, abominable and otherwise useless blog. Follow these nuggets of wisdom and soon your blog will be more rotten than spoiled milk.

If you really want to repel readers then this next bad blog tip is just for you. By writing in a poor style, utilizing grammatical errors and spelling mistakes, you can succeed in creating a blog that nobody will ever finish reading.

I’ve surfed over to many a blog that at first seem interesting, but once I begin reading the actual content (only after finding it amongst a sea of advertisements), the posts are so atrociously poorly written that I can’t help but stop reading.

Don’t get me wrong, there are some blog entries out there that shine despite having a number of mistakes, but the majority are quite unreadable. Perhaps it is no coincidence that many of these blogs are of the “make money blogging” variety.

To illustrate what to do if you want to have a “bad English” blog, we have written up a sample post here.

In our series of Bad Blog Tips, we will share with you the most effective ways of creating an atrocious, abominable and otherwise useless blog. Follow these nuggets of wisdom and soon your blog will be more rotten than spoiled milk.

By promising your readers the world, you can trick them into thinking that you are an A-list blogger. There are specific tactics that must be employed in order to make this happen and if followed carefully, you too can become a bad blogger.

After you’ve chosen a blog topic, masquerade as an expert in this field. Fabricate a back story that paints you as a veteran in whatever industry you claim to be a part of. Be sure to exaggerate, to better fool your audience.

Next, write some meaningless posts and compile them into a sloppy e-book, ready for distribution to anyone foolish enough to join your email list. These posts can be copied content, imitation or just plain jibberish. We will be putting some tutorials together for your perusal very soon.

Once you’ve “established” yourself as a guru in the eyes of your readers, start making those empty promises, here are a few examples.

Make millions through advertisements

Work from home in your underwear

Receive checks in the mail from only one hour of effort per week

These are just starter ideas, we will be presenting even more in the near future. Always keep in mind that you are the puppet master, and you must treat your audience like mindless zombies that will follow your every command.

Promise them wealth, happiness and success from the world of blogging. Trick them into believing that by writing a few words and hitting the Publish button, they too can live the life of luxury. Embrace your inner weasel.

Blogging certainly isn’t the only way to frivolously spend money on the internet. In our series “Losing Money Online”, we will highlight some of the most compelling methods of wasting your cash across the web.

Today’s post will highlight the various ways to lose money on sports websites. Typically these types of pages bring us news, highlights and scores from the world of sports. They were a welcome change from the days of watching the 10 o’clock news and anxiously waiting the 5 minute sports brief toward the end of the show.

Some sports websites were born from networks, and these are typically the best around. However, I’ve noticed that many of these companies now charge a membership fee in order to read or watch useless things which can be found elsewhere for free.

These exclusive clubs afford you the luxury of reading pointless mock drafts, worthless speculation and rumors. Why in the world would anyone want to pay for these things? They can all be found on other blogs and websites for the low low price of $0.

Just because a mock draft is written by a so-called expert doesn’t make it any more likely of happening. Speculation and predictions are just an opinion of what may transpire in the course of time in sports, and it’s ridiculous to shell out to gain access to this. Finally, rumors run rampant — from trades to free agent signings, there’s always a bit of juicy gossip to be had. The sports world is just like a soap opera, and people are attracted to that, but paying to see rumors is just dumb.

These aren’t the only ways to lean out your pockets on these web pages. You can also pay for extra fantasy sports analysis and pay for score alerts, among many other things. Our point here is that most if not all of this information can be acquired without losing a dime.

On the other hand, if you love wasting money online, then this is a slam dunk.

In our series of Bad Blog Tips, we will share with you the most effective ways of creating an atrocious, abominable and otherwise useless blog. Follow these nuggets of wisdom and soon your blog will be more rotten than spoiled milk.

A biography, no matter what medium, is supposed to be a unique expression of you as a person. However, as millions of wannabe probloggers fight for revenue like crabs in a pot, they all seem to be following the same advice when it comes to writing a description of themselves.

Thus, with today’s Bad Blog Tip we teach you just how to come up with a bland profile page. As you know, the “about” page is one of the most visited pages on any weblog. In addition, your social media pages frequently require some sort of bio to complete your registration.

Make it seem that you are über-deep by writing a series of words that you think set you apart as special but are really so mainstream that you just come off as a pretentious, copycat and lazy writer.

For example: mother, painter, blogger, cash money maker, wizard of oz fan, bean enthusiast, trombone collector, free thinker, unique, pompous, windbag, self-important, narcissistic, conceited, interweb marketer, money magnet, wind spirit.

This is just the tip of the iceberg as far as ridiculously lame profiles go. Feel free to experiment until you find what’s right for you. With a little effort, you can ensure that your profile doesn’t stand out and blends in with the rest of the so-called “pro” bloggers out there.

In our series of Bad Blog Tips, we will share with you the most effective ways of creating an atrocious, abominable and otherwise useless blog. Follow these nuggets of wisdom and soon your blog will be more rotten than spoiled milk.

Pingbacks and tracebacks can be spectacular when used properly, but if you truly want to be a Bad Blogger then you must send these randomly. This way you can ensure to be marked as a spammer and have a terrible blog that nobody wants to read.

In my experiences as a blogger with a hand in many different niches, I’ve seen some bizzare trackbacks. When I clicked the links, I was taken to these bizarre websites that barely pass as blogs. They are in fact just a collection of links to other articles with ads plastered everywhere.

In a future post we will share a tutorial if you’d like to create the same type of site, but for now suffice it to say thta you can ensure your legacy as a bad blogger by pinging other sites that have nothing to do with yours.

Millions of internet users get into blogging once they hear that there is money to be earned and fame to be found. However, the grand majority of these bloggers quit shortly after they begin. There are several reasons for this, which we will highlight in this article.

Here at Lose Money Blog, we think that these people just need to change their goals! By altering your perspective, you can be successful in blogging in just a few simple steps. Find out below. . .

So, why do so many people quit the blogosphere prematurely, leaving dead blogs in their wake?

1. Not Enough Visitors

With so many great articles available around the web, it can be tough for an author to bring visitors to his/her website. As a result, a blogger may see puny statistics and decide that it is an uphill battle that they don’t want to fight.

2. Not Making Money

One of the biggest mistakes that bloggers make is believing that they can make tons of money by simply writing stories and publishing them to the internet. In reality, while some bloggers make a decent income and even fewer earn big, most blogs aren’t going to bring in anything but a few cents a day (if that).

Bloggers react by quitting because their blog wasn’t making them any money.

3. Can’t Come Up With Content

Let’s face it, coming up with great content on a consistent basis isn’t easy. Many bloggers do have the potential to write a handful of witty, useful or important entries yet lack the time and energy necessary to consistently churn out the content necessary for a successful and long-lasting blog.

All it Takes is a New View

Think about this for a moment. If you start your blogging experience with the intention of losing money, you will be much more likely to reach your goal. Don’t set the bar too high at the outset, because there is lots of money to be lost. In other words, there is no rush.

It is possible to lose money blogging on the internet, in just a few hours a week. Subscribe to our RSS feed to stay up to date with all of our Losing Money tips.

In our series of Bad Blog Tips, we will share with you the most effective ways of creating an atrocious, abominable and otherwise useless blog. Follow these nuggets of wisdom and soon your blog will be more rotten than spoiled milk.

Trashing another blog or author is today’s hot Bad Blog Tip. The internet is full of negativity, so why not add more? Channel your inner bully and completely rip apart another blogger who is just trying to share their own knowledge in the best way they know how.

One technique that is only partially successful is to leave negative comments on a post that you find particularly wretched. While everyone else is thanking the writer for an informative post you must be that person that goes against the grain to spew insults and curses.

This onlys some of the time because many comments are moderated to filter out spammers and idiots like you, so that is why we have another way to follow Bad Blog Tip #3.

On your own blog, write a critical post about the blogger. Fill your writing with hatred for what the author is doing, how he/she is writing and how the blog looks overall. Another great tip is to take on of their recent accomplishments and ridicule it while declaring yourself better and more accomplished.

The more you do this the more your readers will desert you, unless they are masochists who love negativity. Utilizing this tip will further catapult you into the bad blogging stratosphere.

In our series of Bad Blog Tips, we will share with you the most effective ways of creating an atrocious, abominable and otherwise useless blog. Follow these nuggets of wisdom and soon your blog will be more rotten than spoiled milk.

Today’s Bad Blog Tip comes from some of my experiences from around the web. I write for several blogs and read even more, and one of the most striking blogging crimes I’ve seen is blogs in the same niche imitating more innovative and well layed out weblogs.

In our last post we discussed outright copying, such as copying and pasting or freehand plagarizing. However, there exists a realm in which some bloggers feel that they are doing no wrong. I’ve witnessed authors make a similar post or series of posts immediately after the better author does it.

Additionally, these same type of imitators rob ideas from comments on these great blogs while giving no credit to either the commentor or the original post author. In order to be a bad blogger, you must emulate, if you will, these emulators.

Every day, visit the top blogs in your niche and read what they are up to and writing. Next, follow suit and do the same thing. We must stress that this isn’t outright copy and paste but rather interpolation without respect or credit.

Never mention that you were inspired by an author’s great post to put your own spin on it, just go ahead and pretend that you are an innovator when you truly are not.

In our series of Bad Blog Tips, we will share with you the most effective ways of creating an atrocious, abominable and otherwise useless blog. Follow these nuggets of wisdom and soon your blog will be more rotten than spoiled milk.

If your goal is to have a terrible website then this is a strategy you must employ. You can ensure that your blog will have almost no readers by copying content from other blogs.

Whatever your blog’s main focus, do a quick internet search and copy and paste from the top result. This works best if the topic is relevant and well-written. Don’t even bother editing anything, just steal the content 100%.

Next pass the article off as your own work by placing your name on the article. Next, spam twitter with links to this article while mentioning that you are such a great author.

Copying and pasting isn’t the only way to swipe content from better blogs, as we will see in the next installment.
